Mike Shearn
(PADI OWSI #232739)
Mike Shearn was certified in September 2005 at Haven's
Reef, and took their philosophy of continuing education
to heart by completing his
Instructor training in December 2007. He is an
Instructor in the following specialties: Equipment,
Computer Assisted Multilevel Diving, and Peak
Performance Bouyancy. In addition, he has completed the
DSAT Tec Deep Course as well as the Nitrox, Deep, PPB,
Dry Suit, and Computer Assisted Multilevel PADI
Specialties.
Mike enjoys diving throughout Southern California, and
abroad in the Sea of Cortez, Hawaii, and the Galapagos.
Topside, Mike has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering,
Mathematics, and Physics and is an Applied Physics
graduate student at Caltech in Pasadena, and is one of
David Henry's officemates. |

Sarah Traiger
(PADI Divemanster # 231503)
Sarah Traiger was certified at age 15 at Catalina Island
Marine Institute. She started working as a sales
associate at Haven's Reef in June of 2004. In September
of 2006, she earned her PADI Divemaster certification,
then began her freshman year at University of California
Santa Cruz as a marine biology student. In spring of
2007 she earned her AAUS Scientific Diver certification
and that summer worked as a research diver for the
Vantuna Research Group at Occidental College.
