Tired of Getting Cold? Well, no more!
Nothing can shorten a day of diving more than getting cold.
How often have you been too cold to do that extra dive? How
would you like to be able to dive all day and always be warm
and dry? Dry Suits slow heat loss by twenty times. So, no
only do you get to dive more times in a day and feel better
during and after the dive, but you spend less per dive for
your thermal protection in the long run. The Dry Suit Diver
Course will provide you with the necessary skill to safely
dive with your dry suit.
The course covers:
- Basic Thermal Consideration
- Wet Suit & Dry Suit Comparison, Undergarments
- BDCs
- Dry Suit Care
- Dry Suit Storage & Packing
- Dry Suit Diving Emergencies
- Fitting Your Dry Suit to You
- Suiting Up
- Dry Suits on the Surface
- Dry Suit Diving Consideration, Buoyancy Checks
- Why We Get Cold
- Dry Suit Construction
- Weight Systems
- Buoyancy Adjustments
- Dry Suit Maintenance
- Minor Dry Suit Repair
- Dry Suit Diving Guidelines, Pool Practice
- Cry Suit Neutral Buoyancy, Emergency Procedures
- Suit Inflation and Deflation
The course is designed to orient you to diving in your dry
suit.
The course does not include the use of a dry suit. It is
highly recommended that you train in your own suit.
The course consists of pool training. Suit fitting, orientation
and two open water dives.
You will be awarded the PADI Dry Suit Diver Certification
upon successful completion of the course.
You will find that diving dry is one of the best things you
can do for yourself.
